We find that individual one-hour sessions one to two times per week work best. However, with some students, longer sessions and/or more frequent meetings may be more effective.
For homework helpers we usually recommend one- to two-hour sessions two to three times per week so that students can stay on top of their work throughout the year. For students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD we usually recommend one- to two-hour sessions two to three times per week.
Tutors-Ink offers full-battery psychoeducational testing to identify students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and/or emotional issues that may impede academic performance.
Recommendations are designed so that students can receive needed services and accommodations. We also advocate for our students to ensure appropriate services.
